Level 14.5 - Some applications of mathematics

OK HEAR ME OUT: I know I'm going against my principles to care about applied maths on here. However, I encourage the reader to keep an open mind, since I am probably the most anti-applied Mathematician you will ever meet but yet I'm doing this as follows: My promise is that if I include Physics or other applied areas, it will NOT be the kind of Physics fluff that is annoying/irrelevant for a pure Mathematician, it will exclusively be the "oh thats actually interesting" kind, and I will filter out everything that is not sufficiently interesting from a Mathematical point of view. I will try to make this sublevel as rigorous as I can but due to its nature we might deem heuristic arguments to be sufficient justification for things here.

This sublevel will not be based on a single tripos course, but rather on how Maths is useful in the real world, as a fitting end to levels 1-14. I will pull out and write notes on parts of all pure and applied Tripos courses in the first 3 years not covered in levels 7.1-14.4 that I deem sufficiently interesting.

notes coming eventually, probably will look into it after I finish all previous sublevels.
